Angophora woodland This beautiful open woodland is dominated by Sydney Red Gum, or Smooth-Barked Apple, (Angophora costata), a tree closely related to eucalypts. The understorey includes Mat Rush (Lomandra longifolia), She-oaks (Allocasuarina littoralis), Bracken Fern (Pteridium esculentum), Hop Bush (Dodonaea triquetra), banksias and wattles, with the native climber Smilax glyciphylla, and some grass trees (Xanthorrhea sp.). |
